A few words about me & my workshop...

 I tried to maintain traditional (of Zakynthos) colors, architecture and style while building my workshop. Roof, doors and windows are made of wood, while I choose ochre (light yellow) for the outside color of the building.

  In my workshop you can see the whole process of making ceramics : preparing of clay, pug-mill, hand-kneading, throwing the wheel, pressing clay with hands in handmade molds, first firing, painting, glazing and second firing. 

  I want to have good quality of my  products, so I make and paint them all by hand. 

I mainly use the wheel, while all molds are pressed by hand in molds I make on my own, after I first make the original pice. You can find more details in following pages.
